Nature as Design

The four collections of anatta follow a continuous geological narrative —
from compression, to fracture, to erosion, and finally, to flow.

Rather than taking inspiration from nature,
we translate its processes directly into form.

Fold Collection

Under pressure, layers of the earth compress and bend into folded
structures.

In design, this force becomes visible:
sharp planes, precise angles, and the hardness of metal —
forms shaped as if time
itself had pressed into them.

Riftline Collection

V&A museum / London England

As tension builds, the earth fractures.
Surfaces tear apart, creating rifts.

Yet it is within these ruptures that new minerals and light emerge.

In design, we preserve this duality:
contrasting textures — rough against polished;
cracks that reveal gemstones and light,
where breakage becomes the site of renewal.

Pebble collection

Seven Sisters cliffs / England

Broken fragments are carried by water,
worn down over time into smooth,
rounded forms.

In design, edges dissolve into soft, continuous curves:
metal and natural stones appear to have grown together —
seamless and quiet.

Continuum Collection

Bourse de Commerce / Paris France

Collapsed landforms become lakes and oceans.
Everything begins to flow.

In design, circles are never perfect:
they shift, expand, and
remain open-ended.

Like life itself —
unfinished, yet always becoming.
